Recently I read a book about e-mail privacy. I understand that sending mails without encryption is like sending postcards - everyone who wants to read your mail can read your mail. Remember that your Privacy and Identity should be the most important thing in your life. Protect yourself and encrypt your mails. I use GPG (Gnu PGP) and Enigmail from now on to encrypt my mails. Please encrypt mails that you want to send me with my "Public Key" - that ensures that mails between you and me stay how they should stay - Private.

If you use Mozilla Thunderbird Portable as your mail client then follow the next steps to install PGP (GPG) encryption:

Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition has built-in support for GPG and Enigmail to sign and encrypt your messages. To add GPG to Thunderbird Portable, just download GPG for Thunderbird Portable and install it right over your existing installation. Then download the Enigmail extension and install it into Thunderbird. When you restart Thunderbird Portable, you'll have full access to Enigmail and GPG, all made portable.

I updated my CV with my new Reference from Capgemini today. I asked Cap to be transferred to Capgemini, Duesseldorf by the End of May 2008 due to changes in my private life.

This years Snowman Rally took place in Tain, Ardgay (past Carbisdale Castle) and Lairg. Christine and I met some friends at the 2nd Stage, where the cars were buzzing past Carbisdale Castle along a long straight to break hard into some sharp corners..

My VW Golf went to the MOT yesterday and passed the test! One of the staff said that it is like a miracle that the car passed the test without any faults. Good old Golf..

Well, that's it. We have our peats at home. It was hard work to put all peats in the bags and to bring them home but it was worth it. See it all [ here ].

The new F1 season has started and the new qualifying is as exciting as a race. Schumi is back in the top 3 because Ferrari built him a blazing good car: The F248!

The new F1 season is almost there. Most of the teams launched their new car with the new V8 engine. F1total.com compaired the new V8 and old V10 engine sounds. Listen to them [ here ]

In January 1990 I bought a new VW Golf 2 with only 4 km on the clock. About 16 years later I reached with this great car

I should not forget to mention that I never (and nobody else) ever changed the clutch or the engine (Diesel, 1.6 liter)!

Last Friday was Graduation day at the Moray College in Elgin where my Wife Christine received her BA Fine Art Degree.

That's it - the Formula 1 season 2005 is over. Fernando Alonso won the drivers championship and Renault won the constructors championship. Schumi? - He'll be back next year! Next year - that means 5 months without screaming F1 engines. Hope the new V8 sound will be as good as the good old V10 sound.

One week ago I had lots of fun with my neighbours / friends when we all had a very good time at my 40th birthday party. I was very touched when everybody was in the Kitchen to sing "Happy Birthday" for me. Thanks folks, that was very nice and I will never forget that. I also want to say "Thank you" to Andy, Anne and Marion from Work for the very nice gifts. I will always remember that.

One week ago our little Yorkie "Diely" gave birth to three little puppies. Sadly two of them died but the last one "Rosi" (Speedy) survived. She was born in our car while we were driving (speeding) to the vet. Diely and Rosi are both well !

Christine has finished her Fine Art Degree after three long years at the Moray College in Elgin. The last big event for the Degree was the "BA Fine Art Degree Show". Christine will now go to the "Gray's School of Art" in Aberdeen for her "Honours Degree".
